Idyllwild Inn And Strawberry Creek Inn

Historic Mountain Cabins with Pet-Friendly Policies and Downtown Access

Historic Cabin Stays with Modern Comforts

Idyllwild Inn offers rustic cabins dating back to the early 20th century, each updated with modern amenities for a comfortable stay. Many cabins feature wood-burning fireplaces with free firewood supplied on arrival, and private patios overlooking the surrounding pines. Strawberry Creek Inn B&B, a sister property, shares these historic touches with additional creekside rooms and a trail into town.

Pet-Friendly Policy and Outdoor Perks

Guests traveling with pets can bring up to 2 dogs into most cabins at Idyllwild Inn without added fees. The property provides complimentary firewood for the fireplaces, outdoor seating areas with BBQ grills, and a picnic area for al fresco meals. These features make the inn a base for hiking and biking trips from Humber Park and nearby San Jacinto Mountain.

Location and Local Art Scene

The inn sits within walking distance of downtown Idyllwild, giving guests easy access to shops, restaurants, and the local art scene. Foster Lake for fishing and picnicking is a short drive away, while Humber Park offers natural trails for hiking and panoramic mountain views. The town's galleries and craft stores are steps from the property, encouraging exploration without a car.

Family and Children's Amenities

Idyllwild Inn provides a children's playground with swings, a seesaw, and a metal slide, plus kids' outdoor play equipment for active families. Board games and puzzles are available at the front desk for indoor evenings. The inn's family rooms, with private bathrooms and mountain views, accommodate groups needing extra space.

Guest Services and Discounts

Hikers and outdoor enthusiasts receive special discounts when booking directly with Idyllwild Inn. Guests can borrow DVD players and movies from the front desk collection for cabin entertainment.
